Bronx Born character actor Steve Greenstein is moving into his fourth decade of work on screen, television and in theatre. Steve recently performed the role of Harry in the National Tour of Flash Dance The Musical. Recent stage credits include London's West End as Officer Krupke in the acclaimed 50th year anniversary production of West Side Story which was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Revival of a Musical. Regional credits include The Buddy Holly Story as High Pockets Duncan at the Flat rock Plahouse in North Carolina. Big Jule in Guys and Dolls at the North Shore Musical Theater. This summer 2016 Mr.Greenstein travels to the St Vincent Summer Theater to play the role of Frank in Over the River and Through the Woods. Steve has shared the screen with acclaimed actors such as Burt Lancaster, Gary Busey, Tim Robbins and many more. On television he has appeared in comedies as well as prime time and day time dramas. An actors life truly is a journey and he is grateful for all of the experiences he has had and the wonderful people he has met along the way. He looks forward to many more years of exciting creative work to come.

Steve has been busy in the past few years. In 2017- 2018 he played Big Jule in the co production of Guys and Dolls at the Asolo Theatre in Sarasota Florida and Old Globe San Diego. The summer of 2018 he took the stage again as Harry in the first Equity regional production of Flashdance the Musical at the Gateway Playhouse in Long Island, New York. The Spring / Summer of 2019 his play The Last Jew of Boyle Heights played off Broadway in New York City running over 3 months to enthusiastic audiences. He also directed the production which was presented at the HIstoric Actors Temple theatre in the heart of the New York theatre district. On television this fall 2019 he was seen on hit show POSE opposite Patty Lupone, as her attorney Asher Edelman in the final episode of the second season.
